gotye is a belgian/australian musician & singer-songwriter with a dreamy voice reminiscent of sting. kimbra is another name you’ll wanna keep on your radar. she’s got an infectious retro sound that’ll keep you coming back for more.

one week ago, i had the pleasure of styling a photoshoot for local beauty insider magazine’s summer issue (with of course, my partner :: ruthie inocencio).
dominique mayfield james headed up the shoot as our creative director and her talented husband chance james was our photographer.

for the “girls night out” feature, we styled the ladies in dresses reminiscent of the 90s, chanel temporary tattoos, and sky high heels (naturally). with the summer sun feature, we turned toward festival inspired looks : easy breezy, rock n roll infused warm weather gear.
